The dam is located 70 kilometers west from Surat Thani on Highway No. 401, travel along the high and turn right at the kilomter 52-53 marker and continue for another 12 kilometers until you see the extensive lake beyond the dam.
Visit to Guilin Viewpoint is the most popular scenic point within Rajjaprabha Dam that lies on the south of the dam. Since the place is known for the limestone cliff landscape. There are 3 iconic limestone cliffs that notably stand in the centre of the peacefully vast landscape, adjacent together, named Khao Sam Kler (meaning the three buddies cliff).
