After arriving at Dongshan Island, a Visit to the tea plantation is arranged. It is located on the Murray Peak of the Island, the highest out of all the summits on the island. At the tea plantation visitors can experience tea picking guided by the local tea farmers.

Dongshan Island tea plantation is well known for its massive growth of the Biluochun Tea. It is one of the most famous top 10 green teas in China. It was reported the Emperor Kangxi in Qing dynasty gave it such a beautiful name, which described the tea very vividly. The first Chinese character means the colour is green, the second tells us the shape is curly and the last says it is produced in the spring. On Murray Mountain, in addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery, you can also join us to experience the fun of picking tea leaves together. Biluochun tea is roasted only by hand and so the quality is much higher than other green teas and this is usually done just before Qingming festival Frying the tea, this is the process of making the tea. The fresh Biluochun tea is finished after 40 minutes' of roasting. The shape is so special that it seems like the curled hair of the Buddha. When finished tea picking, let's enjoy the process of making a cup of green tea out of the tea leaves just hand picked by yourselves and have a taste of your own work.

The tour will end with a visit to the Village of Luxiang, is an age-old but very well preserved water town with a history of more than 800 years. It is a town with a profound cultural background and achievement. The Village is situated at the foot bottom of the hills with streams surrounded alongside the small ally ways, its scenic views are beyond what you can imagine.

In the afternoon, We will hike to the hill called Twenty-Four Bend on Murray Hill, nearly 300m high, all the way across the tea fields, fruits tree farm, you may explore the local's fruit farms near the villages, as well as discovering many other interests along the hiking tracks. Enjoying the beautiful scenery from Birds-eyes' view of the lake and the town from the top of the hill.
