Firstly,go to visit The Garden of Cultivation,which is small in scale but very distinctive.It was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and originally known as ‘The Hall of Delights’. It was later known as ‘Jingting Mountain Cottage’ before getting its present name during the early Qing period. The garden occupies an area of 0.33 hectares, more than half of which contains residential buildings.

Stop At: Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute, No.272 Jingde Road, Pingjiang District, Suzhou China

Secondly,go to The Suzhou Embroidery Research Institute which carries on the ancient tradition of fine Suzhou embroidery, and exhibits an extensive collection of embroidery created according to traditional techniques. It has also developed the art of double-sided embroidery to a very high level. Artworks made in the research institute have been given by the National Ministry of Foreign Affairs to nearly a hundred foreign heads of state as gifts, to be regarded as a priceless symbol of international friendship.

After lunch we will take a rickshaw tour go through the old city district, along the old streets and rivers to see the local customs, including the Pingjiang Road.

In the end move to Shantang Street which is considered to be the No.1 street in Suzhou and it was copied by the Summer Palace in Qing Dynasty and this famous street is a must-see scenic spot for tourists.End of the trip and back to your hotel.
