Stop At: Humble Administrator's Garden, No.178 Northeast Road, Pingjiang District, Suzhou 215001 China

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your Suzhou downtown hotel or Suzhou train station.

Your tour starts with The Humble Administrator's Garden. This garden is the largest private garden in Suzhou, has been listed as one of the four most famous national classic gardens in China. The garden consists of Eastern, Central and Western sections as well as some residences of the former owners. The art of the Humble Administrator's Garden has a prominent position in the history of China's garden creation. It represents the historical characteristics and achievements of south-east China's private gardens.

Stop At: Canglang Pavilion (Blue Wave Pavilion), No.3 Canglangting Road, Canglang District, Suzhou 215007 China

Next to Canglang Pavilion, also named Surging Wave Pavilion, or Blue Wave Pavilion, is one of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou that are jointly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the oldest among the existing classical gardens in Suzhou and also one of the four most famous gardens in the city. Situated in the southwest quadrant of the city, it is located directly to the west of the Confucian temple. The garden underwent numerous renovations in the centuries to follow, but retains its essential form.

Drive you to Shantang Street. Shantang Street is regarded as "the No.1 Ancient Street in China". The entire bloce features typical characteristics of south China in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Moreover, it is ideally a plca to stroll, try all kinds of local snacks and pick up souvenirs.

Stop At: Pingjiang Road, Pingjiang District, Suzhou China

Enjoy Kunqu Opera or Pingtan Show with a cup of tea: Kunqu Opera is one of the oldest forms of opera still existing in China, with its origins dating back to late Yuan dynasty (1271-1368), about 600 years ago. And it is said to be the mother of all Chinese operas. Kunqu Opera is acknowledged as an elegant opera in terms of music, recitation, and th performets'movement. It is foremost acclaimed as "watermill song" because of its soft arias and the graceful movement of its performers.

Pingtan Show: Suzhou Pingtan is a general term denoting Suzhou Pinghua and tanci, namely, storytelling and ballad singing in the Suzhou dialect. It is well known for its story telling, joke telling, music playing and aria singing. Flourishing in Suzhou, it is also quite prevalent in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces as well as in Shanghai, the biggest metropolis in East China.

Stop At: Suzhou Silk, 405 East St, Gusu Qu, Suzhou Shi, Jiangsu Sheng, China

Your last stop is Suzhou No.1 Silk Mill, it has a long history of silk culture, including mulberry tree and silk worm cultivation and turing raw silk into beautiful fabric. Suzhou's climate and soil are perfect for silk production, and the city has been a center of China's silk trade for many centuries. It's more like a museum which shows you how the silk is made from cocoons from the begining and the whole silk process. Not to be missed.

After the tour ends, drive you back to your hotel or Suzhou train station.
