Day 1: Suzhou City Highlights Day Tour

Pick up service is arranged at your hotel in Suzhou or Suzhou train station.

Your first destination is Lingering Garden, it is the world UNESCO site. Landscape architectural space processing is very exquisite, using a variety of artistic techniques, built a unique space system, becoming one of the world civilization examples of architectural space art processing.

Stop At: Canglang Pavilion (Blue Wave Pavilion), No.3 Canglangting Road, Canglang District, Suzhou 215007 China
Canglang Pavilion, is one of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou that are jointly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the oldest among the existing classical gardens in Suzhou and it's also one of the four most famous gardens in the city.

Panmen Gate, also known as Pan Gate. It is a famous historical landmark in Suzhou. The architecture of the wall is truly amazing. It is also known in China for its architecture complex of both land and water city gates. Therefore it is also often called the "Land and Water Gate".

Stop At: Shantang Street, Jinchang District, Suzhou 215008 China
Shantang Street. Owing to its distinguished geographic location and convenient water and land transportation, Shantang Street was one of the streets which trade and culture were most highly developed in Ming and Qing dynasties, regarded as "the No.1 Ancient Street in China".

Stop At: Suzhou Silk Museum, 2001 Renmin Rd, Ping Jiang Qu, Suzhou Shi, Jiangsu Sheng, China, 215001
Suzhou No. 1 Silk Mill. Suzhou has a long and rich history of silk culture, including mulberry tree and silk worm cultivation and turning raw silk into beautiful fabric. The Suzhou No. 1 Silk Mill has been a proud steward of this heritage for over 80 years. It's more like a museum which shows you how the silk is made from cocoons from the beginning and the whole silk process. Not to be missed. Drive you back to your hotel.

Day 2: Suzhou to Tongli Water Town Day Tour

Stop At: Tongli Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou 215217 China
After breakfast, drive you to Tongli water town (1 hour). Tongli water town is one of the six famous ancient water towns in the south of the Yangtze River Delta, which are famous for their rivers, ancient bridges and house complexes. Tongli Water Town was established in the Song Dynasty, has a history of over 1,000 years. It is very rich in cultural heritage. Traditional residences including gardens, houses and temples, built in the Ming & Qing Dynasty, are the highlight of the city. Jiayin Hall is known for its fine carvings on the structure. Congben Hall is also known for its carvings on the structure. There are more than one hundred of well-preserved woodcarvings of traditional figures from Chinese classics. Tongli together with Zhouzhuang and Luzhi were listed in the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With the rapid modernization of China, large number of historical towns disappeared under the bulldozers, with only a handful of well-preserved historical townships remaining today.

Then free on your own for a while until our guide drive you back to Suzhou and you will be taken back to your hotel or Suzhou train station.
