About this activity
Enjoy being picked up from your Hunter Valley accommodation between 8.30am and 9.45am (in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Nulkaba, Broke, Cessnock, or Maitland) in comfort and style as you relax with air conditioning and great music.
Discover why the Hunter Valley is one of the most highly awarded wine regions in Australia as you learn about the traditions and uniqueness of wine making in this location. You'll taste 5-8 wines at each of the 3 cellar doors we visit (approx. 45 min. tasting at each winery with 15-20 mins for optional purchasing afterwards) with informative and friendly professionals who are ready to greet you and make your tasting experience one to remember.
No visit to the Hunter is complete without savoring the creamy cheeses the Hunter is known for at The Smelly Cheese Shop and indulging in some wicked delights at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Shop.
In addition to being known for its wines the Hunter Valley also produces some amazing and refreshing craft beers. Cleanse your palate with a selection of up to 12 locally made beers with funky names such as Dogbolter black ale, Fat Yak, Redback, Ruby Tuesday and Dirty Granny Cider just to name a few.
An Italian inspired menu including pastas, salads, gourmet pizzas with generous toppings (vegetarian and gluten-free options may be available), and gourmet burgers for lunch are the perfect complement to a delicious day of wine and beer tasting.
Enjoy the views and relax on the leisurely drive back to your Hunter Valley accommodation after a day of gorgeous scenery, new friends and decadent food and wine pairings.
Available: Saturdays (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day)
Departure Locations:
