This opera was amazing! It was an amazing French story! Since it is in French, they had screens providing subtitles in English and possibly Japanese I'm not 100 sure there. As you watched the opera, you could see the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background giving amazing views. Things to note: 1 It is outside, so beware of weather conditions. It ended up getting chilly that night and I wish I had a light jacket. 2 Eat before you go or after. They don't have a wide variety and the items they do have are quite costly. 3 You aren't allowed to take pictures during the performance but near intermission there were fireworks with the Opera House off in the background. Have your cameras ready for that!

What an amazing performance! It met every expectation we had! Originally disappointed there was no performances at the Opera House, but the opera production of La Boheme on Sydney Harbour was mesmerizing. There is not a bad seat in the venue! It is an outdoor theater over looking the harbor with the Sydney Opera house in the background. Sound system, lighting, even electric screens telling what is going on in the production made the evening magical. At intermission, they had snow falling everywhere and a beautiful firework display! We went early and had a light dinner before the production. The staff helping attendees were so kind and helpful! The one thing we must mention to help those going, is to make a plan on how you will get there. If you can not walk long distance make sure your cab driver knows to let you off at the top of the outdoor theatre! Ours took us to the Opera House and we had a long walk around the harbor through the Botanical gardens which were beautiful, but very long walk! One last thing, be prepared for the cost of a taxi ride if not staying in the harbor area! They increase the starting meter charge for the event and it runs continuous. We were staying in the Darling Harbour Area and it was over 65 round trip and it was approximately 20 KM round trip. Wonderful Venue and highly suggest going if can.

Great end to our holiday. Tickets were upgraded when we arrived and we had great seats with views of the Opera House and Bridge to the front and stage slightly to the left. The Opera was superb, very well staged and great contemporary sets. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful! The site is perfect for pictures of the stage a barge with the Sydney Opera House in the background. This was the first time we used VIATOR to purchase tickets for an event. The tickets were really great. We were sitting in the second row, to one side of the stage, but within the stage area. After this experience, we have now purchased tickets to events using VIATOR. We have not been disappointed, yet. They really do offer great locations for their theater tickets. The opera was Carmen and the Company did an excellent job. We took a cab to the theater and after the opera there were many cabs available to return us to our hotel. This was such a wondrous experience.
