The renter acknowledges this vehicle is a 'performance' Tesla, which is significantly beyond the already extreme acceleration potential found in standard Tesla model vehicles. The physical driving experience is very different, and great, extra care must be taken with performance model vehicles.

This includes drivers being unaccustomed to 'steering' under extreme acceleration, and not being aware they may exceed posted speed limits within as little as two seconds.

Additionally, drivers of Tesla vehicles and especially performance models do notice that other road users are unaccustomed to the physical acceleration properties of a Tesla. Pedestrians crossing, and vehicles changing lanes in the street far ahead, may not make provision for a Tesla that can accelerate up in a flash, without even breaking the speed limit.

Additional caution should be taken to ensure you cater to your own possible inexperience, as well as those from others around you.
