Spirit of Fun is a dramatic and emotive son et lumière that celebrates the history and magic of Luna Park.
Since 1935, Luna Park has been a place where people come together. It transcends social and cultural barriers and constantly evolves. This is where creativity, engineering, fantasy and imagination have created memories for millions of visitors for more than 83 years.
Located on Luna Park’s Coney Island, Spirit of Fun is a grand installation that brings to life the park’s artworks, characters and soul. Its narrative highlights Luna Park’s colourful history and also provides a window into the future of fun at this much-loved Sydney institution.
Visitors enter a world where smiles and laughter rule, where the impossible becomes possible and where everything is better when decorated in lights.
Experience the amazing Vivid experience and some of the exciting Luna Park Sydney rides as the entire amusement park comes alive with brilliant shapes, patterns and colours. The Park will be open each evening of Vivid Sydney from 6.00pm and visitors will be able to experience many of the famous Luna Park Sydney rides, whilst also enjoying the amazing lights of Vivid Sydney. 
This special Vivid Sydney "Ride & Dine" offer includes Unlimited Rides after 6.00pm and a $20 food/drink voucher for Yellow/Green passes and a $12 voucher for a Red pass - a great opportunity to experience the new "Hungry Horse" dining experience at Luna Park Sydney.
All rides up to and including Coney Island will be open to enjoy. The kids area behind Coney Island will be closed (with the exception of Friday and Saturday nights when all rides will be available)

A Yellow Unlimited Rides Pass is for guests that are 130cm tall, or taller
A Green Unlimited Rides Pass is for guests that are 106-129cm tall
A Red Unlimited Rides Pass is for guests that are 85-105cm tall
Operating Hours
The revised evening Park operating hours are as follows for the period from 25 May to 16 June inclusive:
 
MONDAYS-THURSDAYS: 1800-2200
FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS: 1800-2300
SUNDAYS: 1800-2200
