The seawater is clean and blue. The black stones are crystal. From here you can see twisting highways carved into cliff and famous Qingshui Cliff.

Taroko Gorge is famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. Cliffs and canyons stretch along Liwu River. The rock beneath the bridge looks like a frog. The frog-like rock is composed of black layer of schist at the top and white marble at the bottom. A pavilion was built on this frog rock, becoming the crown on the frog. This was built by late President Chiang Jing-guo, in memory of his mother, during construction of the road. The guide was always rushing. Gave us 2 minutes to take photos! We heard the driver tell her that its too rushed and he said he can park awhile but the guide said she knows better because she's the "queen of taroko"

We are glad we saw this remarkable part of Taiwan and appreciated the efficiency of the trip pick-up, drop-off and transportation. Our guide is knowledgeable and friendly, but she spoke very quickly and was hard to understand at times. Also, she didn't understand that it is inappropriate to make public to the entire group the dietary restriction that prevented me from enjoying the same lunch as everyone else. I do feel that some egg, with rice and cabbage was an inadequate lunch and should have included at least one of the meat dishes, albeit prepared to accommodate my dietary restriction. If not, then why ask? We would have loved to have had a bit more time outdoors in the Gorge area, with time ot walk the trails for longer than 15 or 20 minutes.

Great trips with wonderful scenery , very enjoyable and would like to visit again. Especially when joining a small group of people, it’s will be more comfortable and less waiting time to others ,

I was hesitant at first because I’m not a fan of guided tours like this but if it is the only option to see Taroko Gorge, it’s worth it. The Gorge is beautiful and our guide Josephine was great. There wasn’t much hiking or free time to explore so if you’re looking for that, look somewhere else. But the tour hit most of the gorge’s highlights.

This was our second tour while we visited Taipei and it was good. First, the guy picked us up at the hotel along with one family and one man. Then dropped us up at the train station and stayed with us until we got on the train. Train ride was about 3 hrs. Got there we had a whole bus to us 8. The tour guide was very nice and friendly. His english was very good. He gave us some tips for next time back in Taipei. Greatly appreciated. We went to a few places and had lunch at 5 stars hotel. Lunch was delicious. There were plenty of foods. Then the tour guide waited with us at the train station and made sure we got on the train. Great man. Was a long trip, but it went by fast since he did a great job on showing us places and a few interesting things. Highly recommended!

I would have rated the tour higher with the exception of two things. First, the guide could not speak English very well and was hard to understand. She also messed up our train tickets on the return where I couldn't sit with my family. Horrible tour guide! Also, the trip to marble factory was a complete and utter waste of time. First, it was not listed on the itinerary, wasted 45 minutes of our precious time from Taroko Gorge which was stunning, and staff at marble factory put hard sell to have you buy jade, coral, and other jewellery. To spend so much time getting to Taroko Gorge and have your time sucked by marble tour factory is a complete waste of time. Please go with another tour company that doesn't stop there or hire personal driver or use pu luv transportation. Obviously, this tour company receives a kickback for taking you there! Please be forewarned!!!!
