Stop At: UMESEKO TOUR, 1-65 Oshinmachi, Takayama 506-0851 Gifu Prefecture
Your guide will welcome you at Hida-Hagiwara station, and show some instruction of tour first. The total walking length is just 2km and there are 5 or more stops such as the historical shrine, local shops and a cafe. All food we offer on the tour are local specialty, and the tour guide will explain the story or the connection to actual local lives at each spot. Surprisingly, you will have a special experience to visit the sake brewery and the old miso shop to learn the way to make, and enjoy tasting the difference of flavors. Another highlight of tour is interactions with local people. During the tour, you can meet some locals and the guide will also help you have a friendly chat with them. Those conversations will make you feel the warmth of local town and understand the real lives of countryside that you cannot experience at major touristy places. - The specific departure point is Hida-Hagiwara station, and your guide will pick you up at the station before the tour starting time
