Day Tour to Rakvere
Rakvere is a place that is not too close and at the same time, not too far from the city noise. It is just a perfect little place to come to relax for a day or two. The town is situated just next to the scenic Lahemaa National Park and therefore holds himself a little of the uniqueness and singularity that Estonian nature has.
Rakvere Castle – Through history Rakvere Castle has belonged to Danish kings, knight-monks of the Livonian Order and the Swedish and Polish states.Nowadays the castle offers many exciting activities that reflect the past. You can try your hand at shooting a bow or a crossbow, sword fight and pike battle, forging, pottery, minting your own castle coins, and many other things. There's an exposition of the castle's history, historical weapons, and a torture chamber. So there are thing to do for everybody grown-ups and children.
