Having visited Tallinn before on previous cruises, we decided to go beyond the old city and see what the Estonian countryside was like. Epp, a young Estonian woman with perfect English and a nice car met us at the cruise port and took us to on a most interesting tour! In several stops, Epp prearranged meetings with locals. This included a Catholic priest who personally gave us an in depth tour of his 14th century church including a visit up (way up) to the belfry. We met a cloth weaver, and a lady who showed us around an old manor house as well. Add in a picnic lunch of local foods, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Highly recommended.
