Stop At: Palo Verde National Park, Costa Rica

Driving through the Country Site, you will arrive to enjoy a two-hour cruise along the river that has the nearest access to Palo Verde National Park. This river is one of most important of Costa Rica, because years ago, Tempisque River was used as a line of Transportation for people and goods like cattle and sugar cane. In addition, the river is considered one of the largest bird Sanctuaries in Central America. Tempisque River

Possess large amount of birdlife, including aquatic birds such as herons, egrets, ibis, storks, roseate spoonbill and many other species. Other than birds, monkeys enjoy to climb and eat leaves and fruits from the trees along the river. The respected crocodiles and huge iguanas sit on rocks to warm up their bodies under the sun. The tour ends with a delicious typical Costa Rican meal.

Our guide Rainer was fantastic, when i come back in costa rica and take a tour i will ask for him. For the boat tour, we saw crocodile and parrots, it was not a good day we did not saw white face monkey, but oh well its nature you cant tell them to be there at 10. Realy a good tour. thanks

Enjoyed this tour a lot. We got to see a large crocodile swimming right next to the boat, and a lot of birds, iguanas and howler monkeys. The guides were very nice and very well informed.
