Etna Basic 1900 meters

Excursion to the volcano Etna, the highest in Europe with its 3,350 meters, as well as UNESCO site since 2013. You will depart by tour bus and head to the “Rifugio Sapienza” at 1,900 meters where you will be able to trek to visit the most recent lava flows and the Silvestri craters, now extinct and have an optional lunch. You can upgrade to visit the sumit crater by taking the cable car up to 2,500 meters and continuing by off-road vehicles to the area summit crater about 3,000 meters with the assistance of licensed guides of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club). Return to Taormina is estimated around 4.00 pm.
