About this activity
Once our guides have collected you in our air-conditioned minibuses you will arrive at our traffic-free practice area and be allocated a bike, HIV vest and helmet. After a short practice session to get you familiar with being back on a bike we will make the short 25 minute journey to the stunning mountains which surround the commercial resorts.
When we arrive the bikes are unloaded and and after a brief introduction of the route the first freewheel begins. 1 of the minibuses will set off on this 7km route which will take you through the tiny village of Pradell, with it's communal village washing area and quaint church. Exiting the village, you will cycle past the ancient olive trees and local farms, and enjoy the shade of the forest, before freewheeling through the vineyards, of this award winning region. Smell the wildflowers and hopefully see the majestic eagles soaring above your head, before stopping at the railway station in the next village. Here we stop for about 10 minutes to allow everyone to re-group and provide you with a refreshing drink of mountain spring water aswell as having the opportunity to purchase locally produced snacks.
The bikes are reloaded and you'll jump in the minibuses to our next destination, approximately 10 mins away to begin stage 2 of your downhill bike glide. Beginning stage 2 of the 14km glide will take you through Priorat, well known for it's rich full bodied red wine. You will see beautiful rock formations and have breath taking views of the coast as you see more local villages and culture. We finish below the ancient Ermita of the Mother of God. A short 1km more, completes the bike ride in the lovely village of Mont Roig.
The bikes are loaded and we will return you to your resort. Throughout the excursion your guide will entertain you with stories about the regions rich history and culture! Don't miss out on doing something different!

We really enjoyed our half day ride. The equipment was all good, the guides were very nice, informative and entertaining! We highly recommend this trip!
Was a little worried about there not being too many people on the trip based on the number of reviews but we had a really nicely sized group of 18 with a truly diverse range of ages, from toddlers all the way up to the upper end of the spectrum shall we say. The guys did a fantastic job of catering for everyone and were witty and interestingly knowledgeable about the area and people. The cycling itself was absolutely fantastic. You can go at your own pace, whether you want to lean into the corners at high speed and go right at the front like myself or have a more leisurely journey nearer the back. A van runs ahead while another one trails behind for support if you are having problems with your bike, are injured in any way or just need a rest. I had a ton of fun on the course which has some incredible views and lovely winding roads which are enjoyable to navigate. If I had to make one criticism it'd perhaps be the price. It's hard to know without comparing it to anything else but, for the duration, 35 euros feels a little steep to me. Nevertheless I don't regret paying it at all because it was one of the most enjoyable mornings of my holiday. Would definitely do the all day tour if I visited again.

Found this tour to be that something that you can talk about when you get home, kids absolutely loved it! the guides were absolutely great, especially Yella!! Would definitely recommend!!
