This was a great cultural tour, beautiful people and stunning scenery. Good transport and loved the Maori Hakka.

I would highly recommend this tour. There were only four of us on the tour and the guide was wonderful. Gave commentary the entire ride. The geyser was amazing. As good as Yellowstone. And the sulphuric smell was not that bad. We four dropped off the guided tour of the geysers when the guide from the park wanted us to spend a half hour in the arts and crafts studio first. She said the geysers were quietand would be better in thirty minutes. Well, the geysers were just fine. Maybe she wanted to show us the gift shop?

Our tour guide Rodger was great. If we ever get back their we will use him again.

The weather greatly impeded our outing as it rained all day. Our ship was late coming in so we had a shorter excursion time. This meant that we literally drove to the mud pools which took 1 1/2 hours. Thats a long way to drive to see mud bubbling. We did drive another way back to see the town and stopped at a kiwi farm which was interesting. Overall our tour was good, but not great.

Great tour ... learned a lot about the Maori people. Tour company even provided all of us with umbrellas, because of rainy weather.

Great trip however didn't set off until an hour later than expected due to them wanting to fill the bus up so waited for another 4 people who hadn't booked on line like the rest of us. They knew how many had booked on line so should have gone with that.

This was a well worth while tour and we are glad we did it. Roger was very informative and friendly as our tour guide. We would recommend his company to others
