Greetings fellow travellers! My now-husband and I took this tour, and we had a really lovely time! Our tour guide David from Gamarjoba Georgia the affiliate tour group of Viator in Georgia met us precisely on time at our hotel in Tbilisi on the morning of the tour, and waited for us until we were completely ready. He brought his personal car, and after helping us in, we drove nearby to pick up another couple, for a total of four tourists for that day's tour. David was absolutely wonderful. He was patient and friendly, very personable with us, and made sure to give us all the details he could, answering all of our questions along the way. He seemed to really enjoy doing this, and my husband and I actually ended up becoming quite good friends with him. His tour partner, Soso, was the one who had contacted me first after signing up for the tour. They both helped us out and were very friendly. David also informed us of ways to get out of paying high tourist prices when strolling through the streets of the town. This trip was actually what caused for my then-boyfriend and I to get married! We had such a beautiful time! David played a big role in that, as he was always available to answer any questions, even after the tour. He was genuinely concerned and interested in us as his friends. A couple of times my husband and I weren't able to converse with the locals about something, as we don't speak Georgian. Whenever we messaged him, despite having a family and a busy schedule, he always made himself available to us, right away. That was very touching and we deeply appreciated that. So we actually ended up making a great friend! We would love to visit again sometime, perhaps with more friends and family, and we would go with Gamarjoba Georgia with Viator again in an instant! We would also recommend it to all friends and family, as well as to anyone who wants to explore a very beautiful part of the Caucuses. The rich simplicity of this country is so pleasant. The arts, culture...so divine. Next time, my husband and I would love to be able to spend more time exploring other cities with this tour. But all in all, really, we had just a wonderful time. And we're so grateful for such a nice and dependable tour group, guide, and experience that is reasonably priced and exciting! My husband and I really owe our marriage to this trip and tour, and for that we shall always be deeply grateful, and shall cherish the fond memories in our hearts always. Please check it out when you get a chance--you will surely love it!! 3
