The monastery was built in IX-X centuries, 13 km from the town Borjomi . The church is constructed from special stones that have a green coloring to them.

We have lunch in Borjomi and then continue the way to Bakuriani by Kukuska train, that is mini special train for this lovely place. During traveling Kukushka, you will be impressed by the views of the nature, that has its own beauty in any season of the year. The whole journey is breathtaking by Kukushka. We take pictures from the train and also we could go outside on the balcony of the train and breathe cool, fresh air. Traveling by Kukushka in the middle of snowy mountains and forest, sounds so romantic for couples and so joyful for families.
