Beauties of Georgia

Day 1: Arrival to Georgia. Tbilisi city tour. You will see the most popular sights of sity (Metekhi, Anchiskhati, Narikala, Abanotubani, Sioni, Sameba etc.)

Day 2: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Ananuri - Kazbegi. Today, Mtskheta and its architectural monuments are included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. We will visit Svetitskhoveli and Jvari. Then, we shall visit the Ananuri architectural complex, which was the residence of the Eristavi (the rulers) of Aragvi. After we passed Gudauri, we shall drive straight to Kazbegi or Stepantsmidna.

Day 3: Kazbegi (Gergeti Trinity Church) - Gveleti waterfall - Tbilisi. In the morning, after the breakfast, we shall start ascending to the Gergeti Trinity church located at the hight of 2127meters right above the village Stepancminda. 

Option:

You have the alternative possibility to drive with 4x4 Jeeps to Trinity church. Afterwards, we will start our short walk to the Gveleti waterfall.

Day 4: Tbilisi - Telavi - Gremi - Gvirabi - Tsinandali - Gurjaani. After the breakfast we will drive towards Kakheti region - the homeland of grape wine. First we will visit Telavi. Then, we will continue our way towards church-museum of Gremi. After this we will drive towards Kvareli region, where we will visit “Gvirabi” a special cave like wine aging facility carved kilometers deep into the rock. Then we will drive towards the village of Tsinandali, where we will visit residence of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. After this we will drive towards Gurjaani, where an exciting local experience, which will give you in-depth understanding of Georgian traditions, awaits you at the “Wine House Gurjaani”. Here you will taste the homemade wine kept in a “kvevri” (amphora) built into the ground. Finally, you will enjoy dinner accompanied witht the private performance of polyphonic songs by a men’s group. After a pleasant feast we will drive towards Tbilisi for your departure.

Day 5: Departure. Two hours before your flight the representative of Georgian Discovery Tours will ensure your

smooth transfer to the Tbilisi International Airport for departure.
