Visit following attractions in and around Mtskheta
• Mtskheta was the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the third century BC to the 5th century AD.
• Explore the cave town Uplistsikhe dating back to the Hellenistic Period and notable for the unique combination of different rock-hewn styles and the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture.
• Jvari Church (6th -7th cc), the most important religious center and an architectural masterpiece of mediaeval Georgia.
• Svetitskhoveli Cathedral: known as the burial site of Christ’s robe and the second largest church building in the country.
• End journey in Gori, the city situated in the scenic Kartli valley and visit Stalin Museum; The museum includes more than 60,000 artifacts, the tiny house where Stalin was born, and impressive bulletproof train Stalin used to travel to Yalta and Potsdam.

• Narikala fortress / [Cable Car to fortress]: Narikala ais an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and the Kura River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi
• Sulphur baths district: It is the most historic part of the city, as according to legend, it was the sulphur springs that enticed King Vakhtang Georgasali to settle the land and declare it the new capital city in the 5thcentury AD
• Bridge of Peace: The Bridge of Peace is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi, capital of Georgia
