Stop At: Zhinvali Dam, Georgia

Zhnivali water reservoir was built in 1985.

The Zhinvali Hydroelectric Power Plant has two turbines with a nominal capacity of 65 MW each having a total capacity of 130 MW.

WE WILL HAVE A LOOK AT ZHNIVALI WATER RESERVOIR FROM THE HIGHEST PEAK. BREATHTAKING VIEWS FROM THERE WILL OPEN UP IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES.

Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway, Ananuri Georgia

Was built during 17th century. It was a residence for local lords – Eristavi. It has stunning view on nearby nature.

Stop At: Aragvi River, Gudauri Georgia

Stop at the river – Aragvi (longest river in mountain region, which is connected to Kura near the city of Mtskheta)

You can enjoy views of the river and, if desired, try rafting.

Stop At: Gudauri Ski Resort, Gudauri, Georgia

Young and rapid developing winter sports resort located at Kazbegi region of Georgia, 120 km from Tbilisi, at the height of 2,196 m (about 7,200 feet) near the Cross Pass. Skiing season lasts from December to April, comfort skiing on all routes. In May skiing is possible on the five (highest) lift or even on the second lift in snow years.

In winter, you can try skiing/snowboarding if desired.

Stop At: Kazbegi National Park, Georgia

This is most people’s destination on the Georgian Military Hwy: a valley town with the famous hilltop silhouette of Tsminda Sameba Church and the towering snowy cone of Mt Kazbek looking down from the west. Now officially named Stepantsminda, but still commonly known as Kazbegi, it's a base for some wonderful walking and mountain-biking. Historically and ethnographically, the town is part of the Khevi province. It is the center of the Kazbegi Municipality.

Stop At: Gergeti Trinity Church, Stepantsminda Georgia

Gergeti Trinity Church (Optional) Was built during the 14th century. It is located under the mountain Kazbegi, on 2170 meters above sea level. From there, you will see city of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), as if it’s on your hand. You will need to change car here, as it requires special cars, for an extra charge.
