Within the tour we will visit all three historic capitals of Georgia.
I Day:
Pick up from the Hotel or Airport
Tbilisi City Tour. - Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of roughly 1.5 million inhabitants. Tbilisi is known for its distinctive architecture, which reflects the city's storied past and comprises an eclectic mix of Medieval, Neoclassical, Art Nouveau and Modernist structures.
II Day: Tbilisi – Mtskheta
Mtskheta - It was capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD.
Historical Monuments of Mtskheta(UNESCO World Heritage) -The historic churches of Mtskheta, former capital of Georgia, are outstanding examples of medieval religious architecture in the Caucasus. They show the high artistic and cultural level attained by this ancient kingdom.
III Day: Tbilisi – Kutaisi – Tbilisi
Kutaisi - Historically one of the major cities of Georgia, it served as the capital of the Kingdom of Georgia in the Middle Ages. The Parliament of Georgia moved to Kutaisi in 2012, in an effort to both acknowledge the status of the city, and to decentralise the Georgian government.
