One day excursion Tbilisi - Stepantsminda

By this one day excursion in Stepantsminda-Kazbegi you will meet to 13th and 14th century monuments and you will get a touch to the sky with mountains (2710 m high). 

10:00 am Start excursion to the mountain region of Georgia- Kazbegi. On the way to Kazbegi visit Ananuri Ensemble – that contains two churches and two towers surrounded by defensive walls. Down to the complex there is a former settlement called Ananuri and former main road, which is now covered by artificial Jinwali lake.In old times, a residency of feudal usually stood high up of the road. Ananuri served as main fortified residency of Aragvi Feudals.

Visit small town Kazbegi. It seems like Kazbegi mountain overlooks you. This is one of the highest peaks in Georgia, eternally covered with the snow. Mount Kazbegi is one of the highest peaks not only in Georgia but throughout the Caucasus. Mount refers to the ridge of the Greater Caucasus. The height of the mountain reaches 5,000 meters.You will drive up to the high hill to visit Gergety Trinity Monastery to overlook Kazbegi areas (price of local transport service is included).

In the way back we will have stop at "Panorama" in Gudauri pass and we'll have panoramic view of Caucasus mountains.

After that we continue our rout to Tbilisi and here will finish our day trip.
