One Day Tour in Kazbegi

• The Georgian military road was built two hundred years ago, after the accession of Georgia to the Russian Empire. In those years, the journey from Tiflis took at least a month. There are Georgian monuments of antiquity all along the road: cathedrals, fortresses, watchtowers.
• Zhinvali water reservoir. Zhinvali reservoir is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Georgia. The turquoise mirror of the reservoir stretching between the mountain peaks is unusually picturesque at any time of the year.

• The Gergeti Temple (Church of the Holy Trinity) is a cross-domed temple, built in the XIV century. The only temple of this type in the Kazbegi region. This is a rare case when the temple is located high in the mountains, at an altitude of 2227 meters from sea level. An unusual combination of architecture and snow.
