The excursion starts with visiting The Bridge of Peace which stretches 150 metres (490 ft) over the Kura River. The bridge creates a contemporary design feature connecting Old Tbilisi with the new district.

Stop At: Rike Park, The left bank of the Mtkvari River, Tbilisi Georgia
The park is a host to a numerous entertainment facilities like singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing wall, children’s maze, mega-chess board, as well as footpaths and quiet corners. The start point of a newly opened cable car that takes visitors up to Narikala fortress is located in the Rike park

Narikala is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi and the Mtkvari River. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi.

The “Abanotubani” is the name given to the district in the Old Town of Tbilisi where there is a whole street (Abanos kucha) of public bathhouses that use the sulphurous waters of the many hot springs in this area.
Abanotubani is the place, where according to legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to the discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently the founding of a new capital.

Stop At: Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, 1 Botanikuri St, T'bilisi, Georgia
Leghvtakhevi is located in the bath district of the Old Town, on the south side of the Metekhi bridge.
The Tsavkisistskali River gorge is commonly referred to as “Leghvtakhevi” – fig gorge. Part of the gorge is located in the National Botanical Garden of Georgia and part is located in the Bath District (Abanotubani) of Tbilisi’s Old Town. In 2012, paths and bridges were constructed, trees planted and houses renovated in the Bath District section of the gorge and it is now a popular place to stroll and relax.

Designed by architect Archil Mindiashvili and constructed between 1995 and 2004, the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi is commonly known as Sameba and is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world.

Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia
Built in the 6th century, Jvari Monastery stands on a mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia.

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in the old capital of Mtskheta stands on the site chosen by St. Nino as the place for the first church in Georgia.
