Stop At: Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater, Shavteli St., 26, Tbilisi 0105 Georgia

See unique clock tower of the Puppet Theater Rezo Gabriadze. In 2010 Rezo Gabriadze built a unique clock tower next to the marionette theater in Tbilisi old town. Every hour an angel comes out to ring the bell with a small hammer.

There is a small mechanical puppet theater inside the tower and twice a day at noon and at 7 P.M you can see the show – “The Circle of Life”.

Rezo decorated the tower with hundreds of tiles which he designed himself and it instantly became a major architectural attraction of Tbilisi.

Stop At: Anchiskhati Basilica, Loane Shavteli, Tbilisi Georgia

See the Anchiskhati Basilica which is located in the historical district. The church dates back to the 6th century, it was bearing the name of the Virgin Mary’s birth and it is the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi. The name Anchiskhati was given to it a little bit later, when Peter Meskhi moved the image of Christ not made by hand from the Anchi church to this one in 1675. The Anhciskhati was lots of times damaged during the raids of the Iranians in 15th-17th centuries. The church was renovated in 17th century by the Catholicon Domenti. After the soviet regime establishment in Georgia, the liturgical ceremonies in Anchiskhati church were halted. The museum of the handcraft wares was disposed in it and a little later - the art studio. The liturgical ceremonies were restored in the church since 1989.

Stop At: The Bridge of Peace, Tbilisi Georgia

Cross the Bridge of Peace which is a convenient cross point between the Rike Park and the ‘old’ part of the town. Relatively newly constructed the Bridge of Peace is definitely the attraction one wouldn’t want to miss in Tbilisi. It is a pedestrian glass and steel bridge in a bow-shaped design that sits over the Mtkvari (Kura) river in Georgian capital. It was designed by the Italian architect Michele De Lucchi and was officially opened in May 2010. The bridge was transported to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled components. It is 156 meters long and has more than 10 000 LED bulbs built-in, that are switched on daily 90 minutes before the sunset. In 2012, the Bridge of Piece in Tbilisi hit the Top-13 most unusual bridges in the world.

Stop At: Metekhi Cathedral, Metekhi St, Tbilisi Georgia

Walk through Rike Park and see Metekhi church where you will be able to see Monument of The Founder of Tbilisi and hear the great history about foundation of Tbilisi.

Stop At: Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Georgia

Take a ride in the cable car and go at the Narikala Fortress which is the most known landmark of Tbilisi. No one leaves Tbilisi without walking around this amazing fortress. During the day Narikala fortress draws your attention from all sides of Tbilisi. It overlooks Mtkvari River, which makes Narikala more incredible. Narikala is one of the most visited places in Tbilisi. It is an historical fortress overlooking Tbilisi. Here you can take some amazing pictures with breathtaking panoramic view of almost whole Tbilisi. The fortress was founded in the 4th century. Narikala consists of two walled sections between the Suplhur Baths and the Botanical Garden. The fortress was renamed "Narin Qala" by Mongols ("narin"-small, "qala"-fortress).In 1827 Narikala was destroyed by the earthquake, But you can still feel the history of Tbilisi, even though the walls are not in a great shape.

Stop At: Kartlis Deda, On the top of Sololaki hill, Tbilisi Georgia

See the statue of Mother of Georgia (Kartlis Deda) which has become a symbol of the city. The statue was erected on the top of Sololaki hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli designed the twenty-metre aluminium figure of a woman in Georgian national dress. She symbolizes the Georgian national character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies.

Stop At: Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, 1 Botanikuri St, T'bilisi, Georgia

Visiting Tbilisi’s mineral sulfur baths is one of the most pleasant and memorable experiences you can have in Georgia’s capital city. A cluster of historic bath houses built on the famed hot sulfur springs that gave the Georgian capital its name. “Tbilisi” directly translates to “warm place,” and the widely taught myth of the city’s founding involves these natural hot springs. Tbilisi has its love lock bridge, if you are traveling here with a loved one you can leave a lock and make some memories. Along the bridge you can see a hidden waterfall in the middle of old city.

Stop At: Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia

World's oldest wine found in 8 000 year old pots in Georgia, So Georgia is considered to be the birthplace of wine! Here you will be able to taste some of the most famous Georgian traditional wines and see where Stalin was hiding during political repressions against him.

Stop At: Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia

When we finish walking around we go for glass of wine or coffee at the nice Cafe which seems like museum with retro decoration, vintage furniture, special beautiful windows and old fashioned style wallpapers. Everything is just perfect here for old style apartment atmosphere. Here you can feel real spirit of old Tbilisi and feel like you were in some old school movie.
