Uplistsikhe and Borjomi

The tour begins with a visit to the monastery temple of Jvari, immortalized in literature by Mikhail Lermontov (poem "Mtsyri") (6-7 cc.). From the temple there is a fascinating view of the city of Mtskheta. Then visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the second largest church in Georgia. The cathedral has always been the heart of the Georgian church and is so today. Then you will go to Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave city, one of the oldest settlements in Georgia.
