Begin your tour at our office on the Lakefront of Te Anau. Take advantage of free parking and secure storage. Get fitted for a spray coat, life jacket and if needed any cold weather gear (hats, gloves, blanket). We've got spare sunglasses and sunscreen too!

Stop At: Lake Te Anau, Te Anau, Fiordland National Park New Zealand

Board our small passenger bus for a short 7 minute ride to the Queen's Reach boat ramp through Southland farms with commentary along the way to set the scene for the journey ahead. Meet your guide and board the jet boat with our 'easy-load' ramps before a short safety briefing.

Travel down the Upper Waiau River by jet boat. Pause in otherworldly yet familiar places, made famous by scenes in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings, and experience a part of Fiordland that not many get to see in real life. Lose track of time, listening to the rare birdlife, spotting the Rainbow and Brown Trout in the crystal clear waters and breathing in the ancient beech forest when your guide quiets the engine for a spell to let the current take over.

Stop At: Lake Manapouri, New Zealand

Arrive on the deserted shores of Lake Manapouri, experiencing a hidden world framed by solemn mountains and wild forest – far away from the roads. Fill a cup and toast the freshness of the pure, unfiltered water; disembark and explore the native bush beyond the beach to learn about the local flora and fauna.

Jet boat back up the river for more fun, spins and stunning views. Back at the Queen's Reach Boat Ramp, the helicopter will land just steps from the jet boat. Leave the life jacket behind and buckle -up to enjoy a scenic flight around the surrounding mountains with views and scenery that rival all others. The pilot will provide commentary along the way and stop for an alpine landing to marvel at the stunning landscape of Fiordland National Park.
