Day 1: Crossing the border, Jerash and the way to Petra

Pass By: Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv, Levontin St 21, Tel Aviv-Yafo, 6511604, Israel
Meet at the lobby of the Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv for departure

Stop At: Jordan River Border Crossing, Irbid Governorate, Jordan
Cross the border next to Beit She'an just south of the Sea of Galilee and meet your Jordanian guide on the other side.
*This will be a good opportunity to exchange cash to JOD for a fair rate!
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Go on a journey through time in one of the world’s best preserved Roman towns, strolling its perfectly designed theaters, colonnaded streets and vast squares.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Amman Citadel, K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein St. 146, Amman, Jordan
Driving tour of Amman. Visit to Citadel if time allows.

Pass By: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Arrive in our accommodation for the night, a Bedouin camp near Petra. This is where you’ll enjoy a typical Bedouin dinner at the campfire and sleep overnight in a comfortable traditional tent shared by two travelers each with real beds, sheets and a towel.

Meals included:
• Lunch: Buffets style lunch in a restaurant just outside Jerash.

Vegetarian and vegan options also available.
• Dinner: Authentic Bedouin buffet-style dinner.

Accommodation included: Overnight at a Bedouin camp just outside Petra in 2-bed huts with real beds, sheets and towels.

Day 2: Exploring Petra and return to Israel

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
You’ll board your minivan again just after breakfast, and drive to ancient Petra. One of the new seven world wonders, Petra is the “rose-red city half as old as time” carved into the sandstone by the Nabataeans some 2.000 years ago.

Pass By: Allenby Bridge, ישראל
We'll cross through the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge crossing back to Tel Aviv.

Pass By: Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv, Levontin St 21, Tel Aviv-Yafo, 6511604, Israel
Drop off in Tel Aviv - at approximately 22:00

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Bedouin style breakfast at the campsite

  • If you're traveling alone, it is likely you will need to share a room with a person of the same gender (depending on the group size). Private tents are available for an addition of 150 ILS per night which will be paid to the guide on the day of the tour.
  • Please note that some sites may be closed or visiting times shortened during Muslim Holidays (especially Ramadan)
  • Kindly be aware that certain religious objects and clothes can cause issues at the border crossing. If you wish to bring such items, please consult with us in advance.
