Starting with pick-ups from your hotel in Tel-Aviv, begin the 2-hour drive north along the coastal highway towards Nazareth, passing along the way lush green landscapes and a wonderful view of the Mediterranean as well learning on the cities and places you will pass by as you prepare for the rest of the trip.
The very first site you explore in the historic city of Nazareth where, according to the New Testament, Jesus spent most of his childhood is the Basilica of the Annunciation – a breathtaking church located in the center of the city and is believed to be built on the house of the Virgin Mary and Joseph, parents of Jesus.
From there, a short walk to the nearby St. Joseph’s church - that stands where once Mary's husband Joseph lived and worked as a carpenter, a profession Jesus practiced as well.
After basking in the glory and beauty of Nazareth, continue onwards with your trusted guide, through Kfar Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine, and onto the popular resort town of Tiberias, found on the shores of the Kinneret, otherwise known as the Sea of Galilee.
Drive along the sea to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the excavated ancient synagogue where Jesus taught his disciples, and was near the home of some of his apostles. Continue to Tabgha , the site of the miracle of fish and loaves located at the foot of the Golan Heights.
Travel south along the shore to reach Yardenit, where the Jordan River flows out of the sea of Galilee towards the dead sea.
It is here that Jesus is said to have been baptized. Having followed in the footsteps of Christ, return to Tel Aviv.

Wednesday I went on a "small" tour to The Galilee. It was actually the same size as my other tours were. The guide was so fluent in both Spanish and English, but when there were only three English speakers to start with, and then the other two left, I felt quite isolated. At lunch I had no one to speak to, even though we tried. I think that could have been arranged differently. The tour was very informative and good, however, and I learned a lot. Thank you.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were able to see everything that we wanted to without feeling rushed. Our guide, Gabi, was knowledgeable and pleasant. For a day trip that touches on the most essential sites I highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved the tour! Ben was a wonderful guide and explained in depth the wonderful history of the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Nazareth and the Jordan River. We went to a 'great place for lunch where I had the chance to eat a St.Peter's Fish. Ben was phenomenal - his passion for the land and the history came thru in his detailed description of each place we visited. I highly recommend this tour - this was my first trip to Israel and the tours ensured I didn't miss anything! I also highly recommend Ben as a guide.
The tour was enjoyable. Excellent driver and informative, courteous guide. Getting picked up and dropped at my hotel was so convenient. The two negative aspects for me were the long bus back to the hotel after the tour with no commentary or stopsmost people napped and the stop at a shop filled with tourist junk.
