About this activity
Day 1 (Tel Aviv to Kibbutz):

Get picked up at your hotel in Tel Aviv, Herzliya, or Netanya between 7:15am and 7:45am.

Travel north through the coastal road to the Golan Heights, passing Hamat Gader hot springs. From this elevated vantage point, you'll enjoy sweeping views across the Sea of Galilee.

Continue ascending the Golan Heights to the Shalom Observation Point and visit the remains of a Talmudic village at the Katzerin Museum. Visit the former Syrian stronghold on Mount Bental, now a lookout point.

Stay overnight in Kibbutz.

Day 2 (Kibbutz to Tel Aviv):

Visit the Banias (Caesarea Philippi) at the base of Mount Hermon where there is one of the largest springs which runs into the Jordan River. The area is covered with thick vegetation and was the site of an ancient Roman settlement.

Continue on to the clifftop fortress of Kal'at Nimrod and Birkat Ram, a beautiful lake.

The last stop of the overnight trip is a visit to Safed, the mountaintop city which was the birthplace of Kabala.

Return back to your hotel in Tel Aviv, Herzliya, or Netanya.
