Stop At: Robert Renzoni Winery, Temecula, California

Robert Renzoni Vineyards and Winery is one of the newest wineries in the Temecula area producing estate grown Italian varietals (Pinot Grigio & Sangiovese) from an impressive Tuscan
style villa.
You enter the tasting room through a fifty foot bell tower in the Italian design. The warm interior is decorated with family photographs depicting the Renzoni family history. Since 1886 the family has been producing or distributing wines.
The specialty Renzoni Vineyards is their Super Tuscan blend called Fiore di Fano. They also produce some Bordeaux varietals and Zinfandel. There is a special VIP room for wine club members and special events. Picnic spots are available.

Stop At: Danza del Sol Winery, Temecula, California

Nestled in the rolling hills of the beautiful Temecula Valley Wine Country, Danza del Sol Winery is a thirty-five acre estate winery located in Southern California’s Wine Country. Located on the De Portola Wine Trail, Danza del Sol’s tasting room officially opened in February 2010. Dr. William Filsinger and his late wife Katharine previously owned the estate. They both provided Temecula Wine Valley with exceptional wines for nearly 30 years. Twenty-five acres are planted with the following varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Viognier.
Under the ownership of wine enthusiast Robert Olson, Danza del Sol is now dedicated to producing wines with a strong Mediterranean influence. At Danza del Sol, you are sure to find wines that will meet your preference as they serve an incredible selection of white, red and sparkling wine. Enjoy a picnic with a bottle of Danza del Sol wine on their tasting room’s expansive patio. Take in the views of the rolling hills and just relax. With one of the friendliest tasting staff in Temecula Valley, Danza del Sol is a must when visiting Southern California. Danza del Sol is also dog and horse friendly.

Stop At: Cougar Vineyard & Winery, Temecula, California

Cougar Vineyard and Winery is a enjoyable stop in the Temecula Valley showcasing a number of estate grown Italian varietals along with Sparkling wine and some dessert wines.
The tasting room is right inside the Cougar winery between the barrels and vats. The winery is small and family owned without a lot of the trappings and amenities of the larger wineries in the region. You may actually be greeted by one of the owners in this simple but authentic winery.
The estate grows Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Vermentino, Aglianico, Falanghina, Primitivo, Arneis, Malvasia Bianca, Lambrusca, Negroamaro, Brachetto, Prosecco, Piedirosso and Sagrantino. The wines are well made with care.
Sangio’s Deli, located in the tasting room, is open daily. Enjoy your deli items at one of the our picnic tables surrounded by olive trees overlooking the vineyards. Deli items include gourmet sandwiches, paninis, platters, salads, pizzas, and desserts.

Stop At: Callaway Vineyard & Winery, Temecula, California

Sitting on the crest of the northwestern hills of the Temecula Valley is one of the oldest wineries in the area, boasting incredible views, a large tasting room, a high-quality gift shop and a gourmet restaurant. Callaway makes over 20 wines, with most available for sampling.
Callaway Vineyard and Winery was founded in 1969 by Ely Callaway, who went on to gain fame and fortune in the world of golf with his signature golf clubs. He was one of the first to discover that wine grapes, with proper care and fermentation techniques, could produce quality wine when grown in the Temecula area.
Enter the tasting room via the outside patio or through the well-stocked gift shop. The tasting bar is over 60 feet long, and the view of the valley and vineyards from the wall of windows behind it is a bonus for customers. There are a few tables and chairs both inside and out for those preferring a sit-down tasting experience.
Visit the newly renovated Chardonnay Room, perfect for intimate weddings and private parties of up to 50 guests. Tour the romantic Barrel Room, ideal for larger wedding celebrations, private dinner parties and special events. Enjoy wine tasting in the Reserve Room, at the wine stations and in the new tasting room.
The wines are approachable, flavorful, fruit-forward and food-friendly. By using unusually cold temperatures during fermentation, the wines retain their natural fruit flavors and aromas.
The vineyards are farmed using sustainable agricultural practices that protect the land from excessive use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
