The Louwman Museum opened in July 2010 and is home to the world’s oldest private collection of classic motor cars. The impressive building is designed by the American architect Michael Graves.
The collection includes sport-, race- and movie cars. Together with the extensive collection of art, the museum appeals a wide audience. Over two hundred and fifty stunning antique and classic cars in all shapes and sized illustrate the development of the automobile from 1886 to the 1970s. This makes the Louwman Museum unique in the world.
During your visit you can enjoy a delicious lunch or cup of coffee in the restaurant of the Louwman Museum. The Museum Square offers a unique atmosphere of the 1920s. The house fronts are all original items, most of them from houses from The Hague.
