This distinctive blue-and-white pottery, originally duplicated from Chinese porcelain by 17th-century Dutch artisans, is sought after around the world. If you wish, you can also visit the Royal Delft, the last remaining Delftware factory from the 17th century where you can find entirely hand-painted pottery using centuries-old techniques. I was charged $300 for a 3 hour tour. In the end the tour was barely 1.5 hours and what I covered could have been done on my own. The supplier did not tell me I was the only one on the tour and when complete did not meet my expectations. My guide was good, but the tour left me angry as it did not deliver what the description promised. Take this tour with caution.
