Are you an adrenaline junkie who just wants the best of big water? If your time is limited or just want to sleep in this Express White Water Rafting Tour Class II & III is the perfect option for you. This trip is action packed from start to finish and sure to get your adrenalin flowing.

We launch our boats near the La Virgen Bridge on the Sarapiqui River and get off to an exciting start as we navigate the class II- III rapids including Superman, Confusion, “Ay Carumba” and many more. There Wave Rafting skilled guides will go over the safety procedures and prepare you for your paddling adventure. This lively, tropical river is bordered by lowland rainforest and features numerous class II-III rapids (medium size). The Sarapiqui river played an important role for the Spaniards to open an access route toward the San Juan River and access to the Caribbean and Nicaragua. Our rafting time runs between 1.5 and 2 hours on the river depending on water flow which changes daily.

Along the banks of the Sarapiqui River you will see spectacular foliage, so keep your eyes peeled between rapids for monkeys, toucans, and other tropical wildlife. Once you reach the take-out point, you will be greeted with a cold beer (or juice) and dry towel before heading back to La Fortuna. Wave rafting trip on the Sarapiqui is bound to be a highlight of your Costa Rican vacation. Pura Vida!
