About this activity
Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your centrally located
Arenal accommodations to the starting point. Before taking the ride you will take part in a short safety briefing, given by your bilingual guide.Then, you’ll be ready for your
4-5 hours scenic bike ride, surrounded by the Arenal rain forest. The ride take 13km or 26km (if you will ride both ways), but you will make the choice to ride back or hop into our support vehicle.This ride takes place on a secondary
gravel/sand with a few rocky spots road, and a flat with short hills, making it accessible to all levels of riders.
Along the trip you will pass around the
Arenal lake; the round connects the
Arenal Volcano National Park to Lake, passing through the small town of El Castillo along the way to your destination. You will be able to cross various rivers, the perfect opportunity to cool down and splash. Our guide will share with you some of the history of the area, and some important facts about the effects of the eruption there. In the final spot you will take a picnic in the shore of the lake and swim there, after that the group will return to the hotels.
