Stop At: Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, From Nicaraguan Border 3km La Fortuna, Cano Negro Costa Rica

The tour to this beautiful region leaves from La Fortuna at 7:30am and travels approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to Los Chiles, a rustic village just three kilometers from the Nicaraguan border. Then you will go on a boat ride to the wetlands.

On the way up, you will see many bird and animal species. Around noon you will stop along the river for a typical Costa Rican lunch before heading back to Los Chiles to take the bus back to La Fortuna. You will be back at around 3:30pm

This tour can be done also on kayaks or canoes.
-Pickup at the hotel
-Arrive at the Rio Frio River
-Receive the instruction and safety rules from the guides
-Enjoy the activity.
-After the tour you will join a delicious lunch at a restaurant near the river. The lunch is a typical food of Costa Rica named “casado”. In case of allergy or special requests please leave the note.
-Having taken the lunch you will be transported back to your hotel.
