About this activity
Don Juan's Farm Tour is the best way to enjoy a day out in the sun in the beautiful Costa Rica! You'll visit this incredible farm producing more than 30 different crops with strict organic techniques, livestock, methane gas, tilapia and manufacture of organic compounds, including worm farming, bio - fermenter, fertilizers, fruits, and herbs , among many others!
You can also participate in the harvesting and growing processes of cassava, picking some fresh vegetables, fruits for homemade refreshments, fresh spinach and other necessary ingredients used to prepare your delicious meal for the day and that are organically grown through the concept of sustainability.
The tour includes a visit to the digester, where the cows give milk every day for cheese and sour cream production; these girls also help collaborating with the production of methane gas and fertilizer.
