Volunteer Program and Tour at Wildlife Rescue Center in Costa Rica

3h30
About this activity
The tour starts at the wildlife rescue center in the morning or afternoon (depending of your option selected). You would be given an introduction about the Wildlife Rescue Center and then it's time for the 3.5-hour tour and volunteer program to begin.

A guide will lead you to visit the facilities where the animals are. There, you will have a chance to know each animal and learn why they are here. You will be able to see them up-close and to take photographs of them all.

After this, there will be a coffee break (including exotic fruits, juice and coffee); and then the volunteering activities will begin. These activities include the preparation of their food.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be an active participant in the caring of wild animals and learn about the importance of conservation.

This was an amazing experience, the guide really took the time to explain the history of each animal and how it came to be in the sanctuary and what the chances were of re-introducing in the wild. It rained while I was trying to take photos, but still had a really memorable time getting to know the animals of Costa Rica.

Wonderful tour to see some animals up close. We had a couple of animal interactions too. My mom and I loved that the rescue focused on rehabilitation and releasing back in the wild. Would recommend to everyone.
