White Water Rafting and Tubing Combo from Arenal

Join us and get prepared for an exciting time. Get wet and wild as you raft through rapids such as “Magnetic Rock” and “Dredges!” In the second section of the river, we will change directions and continue our trip on Tubes! White water tubing gives you an adrenaline-packed experience with the freedom to tube wherever the river takes you! The trip route passes through thrilling Class I-II rapids on the Balsa River.

Your river guide will pick you up at your hotel and join you on the 30 minute drive to the “put-in” spot where the fun begins! You will get a thorough briefing and explanation of the safety equipment and procedures.

Once everyone has had time to practice and review the commands and “high-fives” you will embark on your journey down the rapids. Once the basics are sorted and you feel comfortable maneuvering your tube, the trip starts by follow the guides down some great rapids on the river. 

Tubing is the perfect way to soak up the sun with family and friends, and cool off on a hot Costa Rican day. You will get wet, very wet… but more importantly you will have loads of fun.

After the white water tubing trip enjoy a delicious locally prepared lunch at the Vida Campesina organic farm in addition to some fun interactive demonstrations about sugar cane extraction and how local coffee is brewed before being returned to the hotel.
