2 Days 1 Night Shore Excursion from Tianjin Port to Beijing with Great Wall

Day 1: Beijing City Highlights (L)

Upon arrival at Tianjin International Cruise Port. Meet your guide at the exit of the Arrival Hall then and travel by private vehicle to Beijing City (approx. 2.5 hours depending on the traffic).

Your exploration of Beijing begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, which is noted as one of the largest public squares in the world, and then takes in the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also known officially as the Imperial Palace Museum, was originally constructed by the third Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Yong Le, where 24 emperors once lived successionally. The palace was built between 1406 and 1420, but was burnt down, rebuilt, sacked and renovated countless times, so most of the architecture you can see today dates from the 1700s and onwards. Afterwards, you will visit the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven - to see the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine-Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old. Return to your Hotel around 5:00pm.

Day 2: A visit to the Great Wall (L)

Next day, your guide will pick up you at the Hotel around 8:30AM, and the transfer to Badaling Great Wall, which is a must for a Great Wall tour. Badaling Great Wall in Beijing is the best-preserved and most complete section among the various, hence the most popular, even among world leaders. You should visit it at least once in your life.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant; and when you finish the city sightseeing, you have the option to be transferred to your Beijing hotel or dropped of to Beijing International Airport.
