Full Day private tour to remote mountain villages from Timisoara

We will drive early in the morning at 8 am to Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park. First, we will do a short stop in Baile Herculane resort, once known as ,,The pearl of Europe’’ and of the Austrian – Hungarian Empire. Although overlooked in the recent years, the landscapes around the city are amazing, and the place is known for its thermal water. We will take a short tour of the old town and visit the beautiful buildings that tell stories of kings and queens, who used to bathe in the thermal waters, many …many…years ago.

Later on, we will leave our car behind, and hike for two hours to Inelet and Scarisoara mountain villages. We will enjoy the amazing landscapes of Cerna and Mehedinti mountains, but also learning about these people simple and self sufficient lives. We will also have lunch at one of the locals house, where you’ll be impressed by their stories from the everyday life and find out what they do on a daily basis, and how they manage in such a remote area.

Before ending our tour, we will enjoy the famous outside thermal baths near Baile Herculane. We cannot leave the place without trying the healing water ourselves, right?
End of the tour. Drive back to Timisoara.
