Day 1: Arrival in Tirana

Stop At: Aeroporti Ndërkombëtar i Tiranës, Airport Rd Rinas Tirana AL, 1504, Albania

Day 2: Full Day Tirana & Ancient Kruje Tour

Stop At: Skanderbeg Square, At the center of Tirana, Tirana Albania
Meeting Point, our guide will explain the history of the square and the importance of buildings surrounding it

Stop At: Pazari i Ri, Shenasi Dishnica, Tirana 1001 Albania
To start we walk to the Bazaar market place, the market offers a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables grown locally in the surrounding areas of Tirana, fish and meat, regional Albania Wine and Raki. Many colourful buildings, restaurants and bakeries are surrounded. Enjoy a complimentary morning tea

Stop At: Muzeu Historik Kombetar, Skenderbej Square, Boulevard Zogu I, Tirana 1001 Albania
We will view the clock tower and the Et’hem Bey Mosque, a small & elegant mosque is one of the oldest buildings remaining in Tirana we have entrance into the National Museum of history. This museum holds most of the country’s treasures and artifacts showcasing the best of Albania’s intriguing past.

Stop At: House of Leaves, Rruga Ibrahim Rugova Face A La Cathedrale Orthodoxe, Tirana 1000 Albania
Next we visit to the Museum of the Bank of Tirana, here you can deepen your knowledge on the financial and monetary history of Albania, starting from antiquity to modern times. (only available Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Lastly House of Leaves Museum of Secret Surveillance displaying one of the darkest periods of the country’s history. We will spend time here entry fee is included. Tour concludes back in Skanderbeg Square

Stop At: Old Bazaar (Pazari i Vjeter), Rruga Albanopolis, Kruje 1501 Albania
After a break for lunch (at own expense) We meet back at the statue of Skanderbeg Square. We will then set off in air-conditioned vehicle to the historic city of Kruje. First, we spend time in the Bazaar with the opportunity to shop for local trinkets and witness traditional handmade crafts.

Stop At: Ethnographic Museum of Kruja, Fortress of Kruja, Kruje 1501 Albania
Not to be missed is Museum Ethnographic, located in a traditional house built in the middle of the 18th century A.D (1764), by Ismail Pashe Toptani. The museum features cultural exhibits of Albania traditional life. We will spend time here Entrance fees included.

Stop At: Kruja Castle, Near Tirana, Kruje 1501 Albania
Visit the new and old castle in Kruje
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Museumi Gjergj Kastrioti (Skenderbeu), Rruga Kala, Kruje 1501 Albania
Next, we visit with Skanderbeg Museum. This museum, inside the castle complex, opened in 1982 and its spacious seven-level interior displays replicas of armor and paintings depicting Skanderbeg's struggle against the Ottomans. The museum is something of a secular shrine, and takes itself very seriously indeed, with giant statues and dramatic battle murals. Entrance fees are included.
Get your camera ready as we visit the tower a perfect opportunity to enjoy the view before we drive back to Tirana for your hotel drop off.

Day 3: Day At Leisure - Free Time

Day 4: Visit Vlore Beaches including Lunch

Stop At: Vajana Beach, Albania
No holiday to Albania would be complete without a summer soak in the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. Come with us and escape the city for a journey south to the northern beaches of Vlore Country.

Itinerary:

We start early on the drive to catch the best part of the day, hotel pick up commences 8am. Sit back in our airconditioned vehicle and enjoy the drive through the old Albanian countryside, quiet villages and observe the local ways of life. We arrive mid-morning and now its time to relax, a sun lounger is included per person and cold bottled water and juice. Enjoy a swim or a walk or simply read a book.

At 1.30 we will enjoy lunch in the restaurant, lunch is included and a beverage of your choice, beer wine or even a cocktail. Pizza is the most popular choice on the menu.

Mid-afternoon we head to another location, experience more of the beautiful ocean take some more photos and enjoy another swim or relax.

between 4 & 5 pm we start to head back to Tirana getting you back in time for dinner.

Bring your swimmers, sunscreen towels and camera.
