Kayaking in Komani Lake Day Tour from Tirana

Our journey towards Komani Lake begins early in the morning at 05:00 am from Tirana. As we take the turn from the main road to Vau i Dejës the area becomes more rural, with fewer cars but more wild nature and amazing landscapes. We will stop for a short break by Vau i Dejes Lake, a beautiful and tranquil setting.

At 09:00 we get on a small local boat (this destination is only reachable by boat) that will take us through Komani Lake offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps, waterfalls, rural villages and wild forests. We take a local boat ride, mostly used by the natives of the area. It is considered by many as an exotic experience combined with the unmatched hospitality of the locals. We arrive at Berisha village at about 10:30 (somewhere at middle of the Lake). Here is where we begin our kayaking exploration of the area along the lake. We get back to Koman Damn at around 3:30 – 4 pm. We head back to Tirana. From here we drive back to Tirana after a long but unforgettable experience.
