About this activity
The road leads toward Dajti national park and goes through apple pass in one of ancient roads called Saint George (Shen Gjergji) who connects Tirana with the highlands. After we arrive in Saint Mary village will leave our car and start walk. Is all dependent on snow fall if we continue straight with snowshoes or will carry them for a while until we meet snow.
All the guides we use are qualified mountain guides and your safety and enjoyment is their top priority. We won't be doing any mountaineering on this trip and NO previous snowshoeing experience is needed. Suitable for people of average fitness, gym goers or hill walkers wanting an active day in the winter wilderness!
After we walk towards the peak stunning scenery well be shown in all sides our eyes will catch the Adriatic sea and other Albanian mountains until we arrive at Mt. Mcek 1827m
After the enjoyable walk and stunning scenery you can have a coffee break on the way back to Tirana at the village of St. George.
