Stop At: Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Narusawa-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0320 Yamanashi Prefecture

The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Oshino Hakkai, 151 Shibokusa, Oshino-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0511 Yamanashi Prefecture

Snowmelt that has sunk into the ground over long years sees daylight again here in the form of pristine fresh water springs. Consisting of 8 springs in total, Oshino Hakkai is a protected natural monument.

Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Shiraito Falls, Kamiide, Fujinomiya 418-0103 Shizuoka Prefecture

Snowmelt from Mt. Fuji falls all at once, creating one of Japan’s best falls measuring 20 meters tall and 200 meters wide. Participants will be able to walk along the promenade close to the waterfall basin. In autumn, the colorful leaves that surround the waterfall are a sight not to be missed.

Stop At: Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, 1-1 Miyacho, Fujinomiya 418-0067 Shizuoka Prefecture

This is the head shrine for Asama shrines located all over Japan. This unique shrine deifies Mt. Fuji itself, and its okumiya, or inner shrine, is located at the very peak. In spring, views of cherry blossoms with Mt. Fuji in the background can be admired from the shrine.

  • If the Fuji Subaru Line to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is blocked due to road surface freezing, accidents, or weather conditions the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station (2nd station or higher). When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Oishi Park or Fujisan World Heritage Center (North Hall). Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
  • Time at Shiraito Falls and/or Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine may be shortened depending on road conditions, or replaced in the itinerary with one or more of the following: Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Lake Kawaguchi cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Fujisan World Heritage Center (South Hall), etc. However, such changes in the itinerary will not be cause for cancellation of the tour or issuing of refunds. In such cases, delays to the arrival time may be expected. (Expected Shinjuku Arrival: 20:00-21:00)
  • Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
  • The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations. Note that these will not be accepted as reasons for requesting booking charge refunds.
  • Mt. Fuji's 5th Station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours in autumn and winter, please bring a coat and other warm clothing.
  • Arrival time to Shin-Fuji Station and Shinjuku may vary depending on the season and day of the week due to traffic conditions, and may be considerably delayed. Even if you miss your Shinkansen after disembarking at Shin-Fuji Station due to a delay, no refunds will be given. No stop at Shin-Fuji Station in 2020.
