The Mt. Fuji climbing tour was excellent. The tour guide was great and explained everything well. I was surprised that the H.I.S. company that organizes the tour did not have direct communication with the tour guide. I was running late on the first day and called the company to see if they can notify the tour guide. They said they don't have any way to contact the tour guide or bus driver. Thankfully, I got there in time. I think there should be a better way of communication between the travel agency and tour guides or at least, give the customers a direct number to the tour guide prior to the trip in case something happens. I also think Viator could do a better job of giving information on what is included in the rental climbing equipment and what we should bring for the tour.
