Stop At: The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go Gassho Style Houses, Ogimachi, Shirakawa-mura, Ono-gun 501-5627 Gifu Prefecture
Explore the traditional thatched roof village registered as a World Heritage site. Spend 1-1.5 hours immersing yourself in rural Japanese living.

Day 2: Tateyama Alpine Route
Stop At: Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Ashikuraji, Tateyama-machi, Nakaniikawa-gun 930-1406 Toyama Prefecture
Travel across the Tateyama Alpine Route using a variety of transportation: Cable car, highland bus, trolley bus, ropeway and cable car
Route: Tateyama→Bijodaira→Murodo→Daikanbo→Kurobedaira→Lake Kurobe→Kurobe Dam (enjoy the water discharge spectacle)→Ogizawa
Duration: 7 hours

- Child (3-5 years old) rate includes bus seat only
- The Snow Wall is accessible between around 15 April and 22 June only. After this period, the tour will see the water discharge at Kurobe Dam.
- Delays or omissions made to the itinerary due to traffic, weather or other circumstances that are beyond the control of the tour operator are not subject to refund
- According to traffic conditions etc, the order of the itinerary may be changed and the bus arrival may be delayed
- If the tour operator has to cancel the tour because of a typhoon, heavy snow or other circumstances beyond their control, this will be decided by 3pm the day before tour departure; you will be informed by e-mail and suggested a new departure date or receive a full refund
- This tour is operated for both Japanese and foreign customers. A Japanese tour conductor with an English/Chinese-speaking staff will be accompanied with the tour and will provide you with some necessary information during the trip, but he/she is not responsible for providing any detailed introduction of attractions.
- On the Alpine Route, you will use different types of vehicles to travel through the mountains. Wearing comfortable and thick winter clothes (as visiting spots might be very cold) and walking shoes, also using a backpack for putting your belongings necessary for strolling are strongly recommended.
- Traveling along the Alpine Route might have to be discontinued in the case of bad weather or other conditions. In such a case, vehicle fares for the non-traveling zone will be refunded.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be contacted 14 days prior to your travel date and offered an alternative or a full refund.
- Two optional lunch boxes on Day 1 are available for a fee (JPY1,050 or JPY850. Contact the tour operator for details.) It is available if ordered at least 7 days in advance. If you do not order it you will need to bring lunch or buy it along the way.
- If the departure time on the second day will be early in the morning (6:00～7:00) due to the congestion and reservation at the Alpine Route, boxed meal may be be served for breakfast.
- The accommodation is planned to be in APA Hotel Toyama or similar standard hotel. Mainly this hotel has single rooms. Depending on the availability of the rooms in the hotel, a twin room or all single rooms might be provided for even for youth age group. You can leave your room preference (single or twin) in the Special Requirements, but please note the arrangement cannot be guaranteed. Other room requests cannot be accepted
