First of all, I was not pleased at all with how hopeless the booking process with Viator was. The booking was pending forever, and when I finally called to check 2 days before, Viator said they couldn't get hold of the tour operator. So the next day I called the operator (Heisei Enterprise Group) myself and managed to confirm the booking. Viator was completely useless in the whole process. Now for the tour itself. This was cheaper than offerings from more reputable companies so you get what you pay for. Don't think of it as a tour, but more of a glorified transport method to the two parks. Hitachi was great, wish we had more time. The meaningless stop at Osakana service station could have been removed and the extra hour given to Hitachi.
